Diablo Immortal only has “fresh” content for 8 days – what comes after that?

The first Diablo Immortal Battle Pass ends on July 7th, exactly 5 weeks after the release. However, there is still no information about what is to come immediately afterwards and the fans are getting restless.

The essentials in brief:

• On the 1st/2nd On June 1st, Diablo Immortal was officially released worldwide and has had great success with the release.
• However, players’ sense of novelty is now fading and they are waiting for updates. So far there hasn’t been a major patch.
• Now global community lead Adam Fletcher reveals that the first update will be forthcoming and will focus on the Battle Pass (via reddit.com).

When is new content coming? According to Fletcher, you can expect the first update “in the next few weeks.” He says it’s coming “near the end of the current Battle Pass.”

The Battle Pass ends on July 7th, which is why many fans are now unsure what to expect. Because there are still no patch notes and no specific date for the update. Fletcher, however, adds at least some information.

What’s in the first update? In the rather short comment on reddit, Fletcher explains that the first update should focus primarily on the Battle Pass. If we assume current activities in the passport, possible content would be something like:

• dungeons
• portals
• bounties
• battlefields
• side quests

This content is the target of activities and quests for the Battle Pass. Fletcher has not yet revealed whether the focus on this means that there will be more variation or simply more tasks.

The update should also contain “some features, fixes and so on”, which have not yet been explained in detail. However, Fletcher teased new story content for the future.

What content is next? We already know that class change is coming for Diablo Immortal. This allows you to play another class on a cooldown without having to level up a second character.

There will also be new bosses in Hell’s Reliquary and even new classes. However, the latter require the most development time, which is why you should not expect old acquaintances or even suspected completely new classes too soon.
