Is a Metroid Prime Switch remaster coming in 2022? There are rumors again

A remaster of Metroid Prime or a release of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Nintendo Switch has often been an issue in the past.

Nothing has happened so far, but the rumor is still around and is now coming into focus a little more.

Is it still coming in 2022?

According to journalist Jeff Grubb, it’s “pretty certain” that the Metroid Prime remaster will be released this November to mark the game’s 20th anniversary.

“I can say that I’ve been told with some certainty that Metroid Prime Remastered will be one of their big games for the holiday season,” says grubb

“In the past I had heard that something was in the works [und] that they were going to do something with this game. Now I’ve been told that they plan to release the game later this year. I think it will almost certainly coincide with the 20th anniversary in November.”

According to Grubb, switch versions of part two and part three are also largely finished, but will only be released later.

Likewise, it sounds like only Metroid Prime 1 will get a major overhaul, more so than its two successors.
