Ergonomics & comfort: Two important factors

You can then sit down on the seat and adjust the TC200 to your height. Thanks to a class 4 steel gas lift, you can use a 120mm range of motion (100mm on the T3 Rush) adjust the seat height to suit your needs. If you want to take a break while gaming or working and lean back and relax, you can also turn the backrest around 90-180 degrees adjust.

The designation 4D armrests already reveals it: you can adjust the TC200 up or down, left or right, forwards or backwards and even at an angle. This should allow everyone to find the perfect position for their arms.

An important difference from many other gaming chairs is that the Lumbar support on the TC200 is already integrated. So you don’t have to constantly pull a separate pillow to the desired position. In addition, the scope of delivery includes a Memory foam neck pillowwhich you can optionally attach to the upper part of the backrest and is intended to help you maintain a healthy posture when playing or working.

The backrest itself is well padded, but at the same time not too flexible. This ensures the correct posture of the back. Although the TC200 was inspired by racing, the Dimensions of backrest and seat significantly increased compared to the Corsair T3 Rush. For example, the seat shells of the backrest do not sit too close to your body on the right and left. In addition, the wider surface offers the possibility to sit comfortably even with crossed or crossed legs.

The seat can basically be considered the highlight of the TC200. This is very well padded, while you don’t sink too deep into it and can therefore sit comfortably but still upright.

Ultimately, the question remains whether the fabric or imitation leather version should be used. This is basically an individual decision. But especially in the hot summer months breathable fabric cover with perforated areas clearly its advantages. In winter, on the other hand, imitation leather can get quite cold, which is why many people prefer the fabric version in this case.

Visually, however, artificial leather is clearly ahead for many players and is also more durable.

Appearance: Simple & elegant

We already mentioned that the Corsair TC200 was inspired by racing in terms of design. Nevertheless, you get a simple, elegant and modern designed gaming chair with some cleverly chosen accents. If you like it unobtrusive, you can choose the completely black variant for the color design. Only the Corsair logo on the front and back of the headpiece is silver.

The second variant is mainly designed in gray with white accents on the right and left side of the backrest and the seat.

Does the processing quality fit for almost 400 euros?

A highlight of the TC200 are the rubberized ones 75mm dual wheel casters on the bottom. Corsair has set chic accents with pinstripes.

In addition, the castors, which are quite large in direct comparison to other gaming chairs, glide extremely quietly and smoothly over the floor. The racing tires are attached to a powder-coated steel wheel frame, which already gives the chair a large part of its weight and also gives it a high-quality and stable impression.

The sides, on the other hand, are a bit disappointing plastic panels, each mounted with two screws over the backrest brackets. Two small rubber covers in the shape of the Corsair logo cover the screw openings. Apart from the fact that the attachment turns out to be a little fiddly, the two plastic parts also seem quite wobbly after assembly.

The situation is quite similar with the 4D armrests. Yes, it’s great that these can be adjusted in four dimensions. Conversely, this flexibility also means that the armrests are quite wobbly in any position and can still be moved a few millimeters in all directions when locked. For a chair in this price range, we would have wished for a little more quality from Corsair on these two points.
