Rocket League: Seventh birthday is celebrated with an event

For the seventh anniversary of Rocket League, the developer is celebrating the Birthday Ball event with challenges and rewards.

Psyonix, the San Diego-based video game developer, is celebrating the seventh anniversary of Rocket League (which is July 7th) with a new in-game event called the Birthday Ball, starting July 6th.

The Birthday Ball features event challenges and rewards (some of the challenge rewards are credits, a first in Rocket League), two limited-time modes, anniversary items, and Golden Eggs.

Contents of the Birthday Ball

• New event challenges: For the first time in Rocket League, players can complete various event challenges to unlock up to 300 credits as a reward. Additional rewards from the challenges include the Golden Goat Title, the Precious Metal Avatar Frame, and the Golden Eggs. The golden eggs unlock items from Champions Series 1-4.
• Two limited time modes: 2v2 Heatseeker will be available from July 6th to July 13th and Knockout will be available from July 13th to July 19th.
• Anniversary themed items: The Fennec Car (Titanium White), Fancy Formal Decal (Fennec), Spyder: Anniversary Edition Wheels, and Top Hat: Anniversary Edition Topper will rotate in the Item Shop throughout the event.

The Birthday Ball will be live in Rocket League from July 6th to July 19th.
