With the MSI Optix MAG342CQR, Otto.de currently has a well-rated gaming monitor in ultrawide format on offer at a particularly reasonable price.

The price is so good: The monitor is currently available at Otto.de for only 389.90 euros instead of 549 euros RRP. In addition, there are 2.95 euros shipping costs, which are omitted for new customers.

According to the price comparison, the model has not previously been available at a lower price and other dealers only start from 429.99 euros or 461 euros, depending on the model variant.

The monitor offers that

MSI Optix MAG342CQR is coming up 34 inches (about 86 centimeters) in curved Curved construction for more “right in the middle” feeling and has a particularly wide 21:9 format over a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels.

In doing so, a colorful VA panel along with rudimentary HDR support (MSI DisplayHDR Ready) and up to one millisecond response time and fast 144 Hertz refresh rate required.

Also on board is Adaptive-Sync to prevent image tearing and synchronization-related stuttering with supported graphics cards, whereby in addition to AMD’s FreeSync also Nvidia’s G-SYNC should work according to user reports.

Added to this are one RGB lighting on the back as well as a good ergonomic adjustability in height, rotation and tilt.
