You can play Genshin Impact: Version 2.8 from July 13th – that’s in the new update

The next update for Genshin Impact arrives in less than two weeks.

On July 13, 2022, update 2.8 will be released for Genshin Impact, bringing lots of summer, sun and sea to the game.

This is what awaits you in version 2.8 of Genshin Impact

Update 2.8 is titled “Summer! Night? Fantasy!”, among other things, it starts the seasonal campaign “A Summer Stay by the Sea”, in which Fischl, Xinyan, Kaedahara Kazuha and Mona accompany you.

The Gulf Apple Archipelago is also returning after a drastic redesign. New landscapes, an extensive exploration game, more treasure chests and unexpected stories about the travelers’ companions await you here.

There is a chance to recruit the playable 4-star character Fischl and her new outfit for free.

There is a new outfit for Diluc, while another 4-star playable character is introduced with Shikanoin Heizou. He is the first melee Catalyst user in the game and deals Anemo area damage with his punches and kicks. He will attempt additional damage on enemies under the influence of Hydro, Pyro, Hryo, or Electric power.
