Discovery+ starts in Germany

Another streaming service has recently become available in Germany and Austria. With Discovery+ starts a Channelwhich belongs to Warner Bros and mainly offers documentaries, reports, reality TV shows and sports programs.
According to Warner, there is to start 700+ content on the platform, including live streams from the TV channels Dmax, TLC, HGTV and Tele 5. Both subscriptions offer the same content and a seven-day trial version. Thanks to a collaboration with Sky, all Sky Q subscribers are even allowed to use the new service twelve months free of charge to use. After that, a normal payment subscription must be completed.
There are two models to choose from. On the one hand, it becomes a cheaper subscription with commercial breaks offered, which costs 3.99 euros per month or 39.99 euros per year. the ad-free version costs EUR 5.99 per month or alternatively EUR 59.99 per year.
Discovery+ is currently available for LG smart TVs, Android TVs, Chromecast, Android or iOS smartphones and tablets, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku devices. There is also an app for Samsung Smart TVs plannedbut the app is currently not available on consoles.
A Discovey+ account may be used by up to four people at the same time. The content will be in Full HD resolution offered, 4K support does not exist. There is also no function to download content.
