Destiny 2 brings cool statue for €110 – But she would be even cooler if she yells at me when I fail

Destiny 2 Statue Lord Shaxx

Destiny 2 will again be selling a large hand-painted statue in cooperation with numskull. It is the spirited and unbridled PvP overlord “Shaxx”. But despite its detailed modeling, it is missing an important feature.

Which feature is missing? Lord Shaxx is known for his temperamental character. He animates Guardians in Destiny 2’s PvP Crucible with his yelling, and also rewards them with the occasional loud word. Basically, it’s a wonder players can still hear anything after a round of PvP.

Despite its volume, Shaxx is very popular with the Guardians. Maybe that’s why Bungie has now chosen him and dedicated a 30 cm tall statue in cooperation with “numskull”. The good piece is hand-painted and costs a whopping €110.

This is what the 30cm statue of Lord Shaxx will look like.

But although the statue looks damn good, it lacks an important feature: namely the distinctive shouting of the PvP coach. If the statue could yell and animate you during your matches, it would be even cooler and maybe even worth considering buying. Especially since Lord Shaxx’s animating screams in Destiny 2 have already been honored in a special way elsewhere.

Lord Shaxx has his own training CD in Destiny 2

We already reported about Shaxx in March 2020. At that time, resourceful Guardians had spotted a Training CD in Zavala’s office. Guardians can interact with this to listen to Shaxx’s animating speeches. If you’ve missed the CD by now, you can go to Zavala’s office.

Shaxx drives players in Destiny 2 to maximum performance, now roars at them privately

Where is the training CD? Directly to the left of the entrance, at the very top, almost inaccessible at the top, you can find some dumbbells and the mixtape on a shelf. To activate the workout soundtrack’s cool beat, you have to jump very high and quickly interact with the tape.

If you can’t find the tape but still want to listen to the music, we’ve included Shaxxercise for you, which Commander Zavala apparently trains regularly for.

Although the tape has no use and players can only interact with it, the action was celebrated. Such Easter eggs are well received by the community and show the fans of the loot shooter that Bungie also wants to put a smile on the players’ faces outside of the story.

Recently, Bungie even fulfilled the community’s wish that Banshee-44 should permanently tinker with the exotic weapon Telesto because it is worthy of the queen of bugs. However, one is not yet so sure was that really a good idea?

Had Bungie implemented Shaxx’s mixtape into the statue, the 12-inch tall model would have been complete. Despite this, the hand-painted, imposing Shaxx statue is impressive. So if you’re looking for something to spur your PvP on, you can place the statue next to your TV or monitor. Even serious looks can animate.

What do you think of Shaxx? Do you think it’s cool that Bungie put Easter Eggs like this into the game and do you also think it’s a shame that the statue doesn’t speak? Please leave us a comment.
