Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on 07/05 – The search for Calus continues

All nightmares are vanquished in Destiny 2 and our beloved NPCs can now embark on an important mission in peace; Where is Calus? You can find out here on MeinMMO whether this question will finally be answered and what the guardians can expect this week.

This is happening this week: Caiatl has finally defeated her nightmare, and with it all of the Guardians’ obvious plagues are gone. Now that every key NPC from Season 17 is free of their nagging nightmares, the search for Calus can continue.

What is uncertain, however, is what problems the vanguard will encounter. The Egregore spores are spreading further and further on the HELM and nobody knows exactly where Calus actually is. Alongside rotating activities, the Guardians will be busy following the story further and figuring out what the “Spore Calus” means when he says he needs to “grow beyond himself”.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible

The Dawn: The Crucible is this week’s Strike:

• proving groundin the cabal’s giant land tank on Nessus
  • Proving themselves on Cabal battlegrounds, the Guardians have thrashed through the ranks of the Cabal to finally face the Empress’ champion in the “final test.” But he throws aim-seeking solar balls around and uses his cabal bubble for protection.

This week’s Dusk Weapon: In the 6th season week of the “Season of the Haunted” you can earn a special twilight weapon.

Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation

This happens in the latest raid “The student’s oath“:

• The challenge starts in the “Oath of the Apprentice” raid “Rapid Destruction”. To complete them, players must defeat all unstoppable champions at once or within a few seconds.
• As a reward for completing the first stage of the Grandmaster Raid challenge this week, there is a chance for a master version of the Submachine Gun Submission, Fusion Rifle Redemption, or Linear Fusion Rifle Cataclysm.

You get additional top rewards from the endgame:

• in the Deepstone Crypt raid on Europa
• as well as in the dungeon “Prophecy”

Weekly Activities

New activities have also come into play with Season 17. Explore the Forsaken Leviathan and face the nightmares or surprise bosses in the new patrol zone. Pull the solar scythe there and defend yourself in the nightmare containment. In addition, these weekly activities await you:

Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly campaign mission

• “The ghosts”
  • The Guardians have discovered traces of a spirit pointing to Sagira. Can the dead spirit of Osiris help unravel the mystery surrounding Savathun? But in order for the memory to be uncovered, you must first find him.

• Team Scorched

Additionally, if you venture into the Gambit this week, you’ll earn Bonus Gambit Rank Points.

Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City

• Petra Venj has the 3rd Ascendant Challenge for you this week. You can find Petra and her quest offering at the Divalian Mists location in the Dreaming City. The City of the Awakened enters the second tier of corruption.

Sources of pinnacle loot in Destiny 2 Season 17

This is the new max level: In the new season of the haunted, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,570. This means that the power level at the start of the new season 17 has increased by +10 power levels compared to the previous season 16. All players have also been raised to the base power level of 1350.

If you want to level up quickly, you can also play the Legendary Campaign of the Witch Queen expansion and get 1,530 on completion and get a new exotic.
