Lost Ark is changing the weekly reset today and giving you a gift – brings 1.5 hours of server down

Lost Ark brings a change in the weekly update today July 6th for all weekly updates to come. Otherwise there is little in the update. We at MeinMMO summarize.

What’s happening in Lost Ark this week? After the big June update was due last week, things will remain fairly quiet in the first July patch, as expected. While players are busy with the new Legion Raid Vykas and the new events, Amazon is more focused on changes in the background of the MMORPG.

The biggest change was already announced with the update in June and has now been implemented. This involves moving the weekly reset day forward from Thursday to Wednesday. There are various reasons for this.

On the one hand, the players are happy because Wednesday was considered a dead day in MMORPG for a long time. There wasn’t much to do there and many events simply took place on other days. On the other hand, the developers themselves would like to bring the updates a day earlier in order to have more time to take care of possible problems before the weekend.

A gift awaits you this week on top of that. Lost Ark gives you Bloodstones this time to compensate for any missed weekly guild missions. However, you will only receive the red stones if you were actually affected by the bug that prevented exactly these missions last week.

You can also fight the new demon Vykas again after the patch:

How long is the server status offline? The servers go offline as usual today at 9 a.m. German time. But here, too, there is now a change. They should only remain offline for 1.5 hours instead of the usual 4 hours. However, it is currently unclear whether this will remain the case for longer.

The weekly updates and resets will now occur on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays. This gives our teams at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG a bit more time before the weekend in case there are any issues in an update.

We will also be paying compensation in the form of bloodstones for weekly guild requests. So if you were affected by this bug last week, you should have your compensations as soon as the servers are up and running again.

And finally, the Welcome Challenge ends on July 20th. So make sure to complete the challenges and claim your rewards before then!
