Player runs through 200 dungeons in Diablo Immortal - Calculates how often Legendaries and set parts drop

Diablo Immortal is all about the next drop that will take your build to the next level. But how easy is it to actually find legendaries and set parts in dungeons? A player ran 200 dungeons and wrote down the odds. We present his results to you on MeinMMO.

A Diablo Immortal player recorded his loot quotas for dungeon runs over two weeks and shared his results on the discussion platform reddit (via reddit.com). With a good 200 runs, the user “Competitive_Wear3354” calculated the following odds:

  • Loot Odds: Dungeons Hell II
    • Legendaries: around 2%
    • Set parts: around 15%

Competitive_Wear3354 explains that the dungeons are less suitable for Legendarys. Rather look for farm spots in the open world, even if some of them have already been nerfed or are overcrowded.

Legendary Gems will also help you with your build. More about the controversial items can be found in the video:

How did the numbers come about? Competitive_Wear3354 ran over 200 dungeons in two weeks, noted all his loot successes and converted them into odds.

I was able to gain some experience:

  • There was no significant difference in drop rates across the different dungeons he ran.
  • Competitive_Wear3354 says it’s more dependent on the “form of the day”. Sometimes he found a set part in 20% of the dungeons a day, sometimes only in 10%.
  • He couldn’t spot a loot barrier that lowered the odds on set pieces or legendaries.

In total, he dropped around 800 magic items in his 200 runs and bagged 4 per dungeon accordingly. Around every 50 dungeons there was a legendary, around every 7 dungeons a set part.

Diablo Immortal: Change Difficulty – This is how you get stronger loot

What should you farm in dungeons? Definitely not Legendaries. Dungeons are okay for gold and experience points. But actually they are almost only worthwhile for set parts.

Sets give you powerful effects, and the more of a set you wear, the better bonuses you bag. You could specifically dig through certain dungeons to hunt the part.

You can find out where the individual set parts are and what they are capable of in our large set overview for Diablo Immortal.

Competitive_Wear3354’s stats don’t tell you whether the odds change when you run the dungeons on different difficulty levels.

But the average value gives a good idea of how often set parts and legendaries drop in dungeons.
