TES 5: Skyrim - Together mod has been downloaded more than 40,000 times

The efforts of The Together Team seem to be paying off for the modder team. Because just one day after the release of “Skyrim Together Reborn”, the co-op modification for Bethesda’s role-playing game has more than 40,000 downloads (unique). The mod has been downloaded a good 60,0000 times in total.

After a long development journey, The Together Team released the modification “Skyrim Together Reborn” yesterday. It allows groups of up to eight players to play Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim cooperatively. Stress tests even took place with almost 30 people. The suffix “Reborn” in the mod’s name stems from a legal issue from 2019 – at that time, Skyrim Together was using code from the Skyrim Script Extender without permission, so work on the co-op fun had to be more or less started from scratch.

Thousands of dragonborn already on the road in co-op

The efforts of The Together Team seem to be paying off for the modder group. As of Sunday morning Skyrim Together Reborn at Nexus Mods already downloaded by 40,684 people, the counter counted a total of 59,764 downloads. Along with the mod, The Together Team has also provided an installation guide in video form. Also, the modders released one Getting started guide as well as one game guide.

There is already a lot of feedback on Skyrim Together Reborn, and as such the mod appears to be running with minor bugs. Problems apparently arise with the compatibility with other modifications, some of which can be remedied by using other mods. Skyrim Together Reborn does not support Skyrim VR or any other version of the game prior to Special Edition update 1.6. If you own the Anniversary Edition, the modders recommend deactivating the add-ons.
