Do I have to be a Prime member to shop on Prime Day?
Of course, Amazon also uses Prime Day to increase the number of subscribers for its Prime service. So you must be a Prime member if you want to buy the products at the sale price. But if you don’t want to sign up for an annual membership for 69 euros right away, there are a few more tricks. First of all, you can try Amazon Prime for 30 days free of charge. If you have already used Prime for 30 days free of charge, we recommend the monthly subscription for Prime Day for EUR 7.99 and simply cancel it again after Prime Day. With the many offers, you should certainly save more than the 7.99 euros for the monthly fee. Prime has become significantly more expensive in the USA and there are also many press reports in Germany that there is also a significant increase in the fee and that the 69 euros per year (equivalent to 5.75 euros per month) are no longer valid.
As a Prime customer, you have access to the Prime Video movie streaming service and the Amazon Music music streaming service. With Prime there is also free premium shipping, no matter how high your shopping cart is, shipping costs then no longer apply, at least for products that are offered via Amazon or retailers with Prime shipping. How long is Prime Day at Amazon?
This year’s Prime Day runs over two full days and takes place on July 12th and 13th, 2022. It starts at midnight on Tuesday. On Wednesday the offers end at 23:59 at the latest. In contrast to Black Friday, the date for Prime Day is not a set date and Amazon announces when Prime Day takes place every year.

When is Black Friday 2022 at Amazon?
With only two days, the period for the Prime Day offers is of course very limited. So if you miss Prime Day, you’ll get the next big chance for Black Friday at the end of November. Amazon usually organizes a whole Black Friday week here. Last year, Black Friday at Amazon ran from November 19th to 29th.
