Beyond Good & Evil 2 Reportedly Begins External Playtesting This Month

As the Gaming site Exporter reportsBeyond Good & Evil 2 shouldn’t be stuck in development hell and will already go into external playtesting this month.

In a recent Q&A for investors, Ubisoft said they couldn’t talk about what games await us in the future. Previously announced games include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull & Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Roller Champions, Star Wars, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.

Future projects will include Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy’s The Division. There are also investments in Free-to-Play, XDefiant, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Mobile, The Division Heartland and Ghost Recon Frontline.

According to Exporter “Multiple sources are said to have confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in development and will begin external playtesting this month.” The action-adventure was officially mentioned for the first time in 2008.

It remains to be seen whether we will get any new information about Beyond Good & Evil 2 at the “Ubisoft Forward” event on September 10, 2022.
