Beyond Good & Evil 2: Rumored external playtesting this month
Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in development and rumor has it that external playtests will start this month.
Ubisoft has a massive lineup in the pipeline. One of the games that players have been waiting for the longest is Beyond Good & Evil 2. You could read the first reports about Beyond Good & Evil 2 12 years ago. The game hasn’t been released yet, but it hasn’t been abandoned either.
In a recent Q&A with investors, Ubisoft spoke about all the games that are still in development, both announced and unannounced. Here, Beyond Good & Evil 2 was mentioned secondarily.
“This information is confidential until the games have been officially announced to the gaming community. The games that are already known include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull & Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Roller Champions, Star Wars, Beyond Good & Evil 2, the remakes of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.”
Several responded to the developer’s comment Sources, who confirmed that the game is indeed still in development and is even scheduled to start external play testing this month. However, there was no information from official channels, so the players, as is so often the case, only have a rumor and the hope for good news.
