Lost Ark: Update tomorrow brings bug fixes and 5 hours of server down – announces July patch

Lost Ark is due for the weekly update tomorrow, July 13th. After the big June update two weeks ago, these are only medium-sized bug fixes this time. We at MeinMMO summarize everything.

What’s coming with the update? Just 2 weeks ago, on June 30th, the big June update was released with all sorts of new content. Accordingly, the weekly update on July 13 is again rather small. The focus is on bug fixes in Lost Ark.

This will fix two bugs related to the dance queen Rekiel. Their fight caused a stir before because a mechanic didn’t work properly and the event boss sometimes did too much damage. That being said, there is another technical fix that caused a black screen.

What’s next? Practically in the same breath, the MMORPG announced via Twitter that the July update should be released next week. There was a teaser that clearly shows the new class of Arcana paired with the words “20. July” (via Twitter).

So we can assume that some changes will already be made in the backend tomorrow to prepare for the July update. At least that would explain the long downtime for the comparatively few changes.

Lost Ark down on Wednesday July 13th probably until 2pm

How long is the server status offline? The update starts as usual at 9:00 a.m. our time. At this point the game servers will go offline and will remain down for an estimated 5 hours this week. If everything goes according to plan, you can start looting again from 2 p.m.

We’ll keep you updated on when the servers will be back online in this article.

You don’t have to expect a major download in Steam this week, however, as these are only minor improvements.

• Fixed the issue that caused currency exchange (with some setting) to display a black screen.
• Fixed the issue where the Dancing Queen “Rekiel” on Heartbeat Island could not drop Regen Aether.
• Decreased the damage dealt by the Dancing Queen “Rekiel” on Heartbeat Island.
