WoW Dragonflight: Level 60 Boost – Hero Upgrade Tips
If you purchase the digital Heroic or Epic version of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Dragonflight ordered, you will receive not only extras such as a flight mount and two pets, but also a character boost to level 60. Since you can skip all Shadowlands content up to Zereth Mortis with this upgrade, it is good advice after logging in with the newly minted hero, especially for newcomers and Restarters expensive at first. How do I join a Covenant and get its features? How do I unlock older content? Where do I learn professions? Our following step-by-step instructions answer these and other questions.
The one mentioned below Skipping chapters is only available to secondary characters where the main character has already completed the relevant campaigns.

- Next to the Flight Master is an Heirloom NPC named Au’Dara. Here you can shop before departure Badge of Honor of the Midwayers (boost yours Pact Fame Tier immediately to 60) and a Incense of Infinity (granted immediately all media for your class and increases their level to 200). Then visit the other two Soulbinds in the Sanctum (e.g. Emeni and Boneforger Heirmir in the Necrolords) to unlock them. Then select a soul binding for your talent specialization at the gang’s forge and activate the abilities and mediums of your choice.
- Take the quest Call of the Highlord at your pact boss, which leads you to Bolvar Fordragon in Oribos.

Optimizing equipment and professions

If you only boosted your hero for Dragonflight and aren’t interested in playing in Shadowlands until the release of the expansion, you can ignore the following tips.
- In Oribos you can – with the exception of archeology – in the Hall of Forms all primary and secondary professions through Shadowlands learn.
- Unlike in the other professions, in the archeology the skill levels are not graded according to expansion, but continue to build on each other (currently 1-900). You can learn all skills up to and including the Draenor expansion from the trainer in your capital city (eg Orgrimmar for the Horde). For the legion-Skills you have to go to the Broken Isles (Azsuna Portal) via the portal collection point in your capital city and then to the trainer in Dalaran. Both Battle for Azeroth-Skills it is a bit more complicated, because the metropolises and the NPCs there are only activated after completing the intro quests. Go here via the portal meeting point in your capital first to Dazar’alor (Horde) or Boralus (Alliance) and look for the one there Earthen Guardian-NPC (speaker’s messenger) on. He sends you Magni Bronzebeard in Silithus to recover the Heart of Azeroth (the expansion artifact). Complete the quests to gain access to the Battle for Azeroth campaign in your faction capital. Play this intro to activate Dazar’alor (Horde) or Boralus (Alliance) and the archeology trainer there.
- You can get them from the Runecarver in Torghast Legendaries for your class to build. Complete the Runecarver’s quests to gain access to the Legendary Forge. Veterans with enough resources and cash can buy all the items they need from the auction house and shipable resources Bonesmith Heirmir in Korthia (ashes of souls and embers of souls) or at Enlightened Quartermaster Vilo Purchase in Zereth Mortis (Cosmic Flux).
- At the Enlightened Provider Hadja in the sanctuary in Zereth Mortis you can reservoir anima for 500 each Midwayer token with item level 226 to buy. When activating the token, however, make sure that the properties of the generated items are determined depending on the selected talent specialization.
