Gamescom 2022 announces new details about the event arena, creator program and other exhibitors.

After more than 500 exhibitors for gamescom 2022 could be announced at the beginning of July, including some top international companies with KRAFTON, Level Infinite (Tencent) and HoYoverse, who will be there for the first time with a stand in the entertainment area, further information will now follow : More exhibitors have been added since last week, and the total number has risen to over 550.

The proportion of foreign companies is over 70 percent, and 27 country pavilions have now been registered. More and more companies outside the games industry also want to use gamescom to present new cooperations with gaming brands and get in touch with the unique community. Exhibitors and sponsors include LEGO, McDonald’s Germany, MINI and Porsche & Puma. In the gamescom event arena, AMD, Funcom and ESL Gaming/ Qualcomm will provide entertainment on different days with their own varied programs. Numerous creator agencies and hundreds of talents have already registered for gamescom.

gamescom event arena: four days of varied entertainment

One of the highlights of gamescom 2022 is the gamescom event arena. So that it is right in the heart of gamescom, it will be opened in Hall 6. For four days, fans can go in and out without an additional ticket and experience the various events as they please. Among other things, the following are planned:

gamescom x Creators: a joint success story

Creators and gamescom have been together since the beginning and have grown together ever since. This year, gamescom’s range of creators will once again be greatly expanded.

For the first time there will be a dedicated creator co-working space. This should give the creators the best possible support in their work at gamescom. In the area that is only accessible to creators and their teams, there are, among other things: 100 workstations, high-speed Internet, streaming booths, quiet and meeting areas, a range of snacks and drinks, cloakroom, lockers and much more. The confirmed participation of hundreds of creators and their agencies from many countries around the world shows that this offer is well received.
