Apex Legends: Gaiden event officially revealed

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have officially unveiled the Gaiden event.

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment today revealed the new Gaiden Limited Event in Apex Legends, running from July 19th to August 2nd. As part of the Armed and Dangerous game mode, players can unlock 40 event-limited cosmetic items and much more.

• Return of Armed and Dangerous: The Armed and Dangerous Limited Mode returns for two weeks. World’s Edge, Olympus, and Stormpoint are in map rotation.
• Temporary objects: The new event includes 40 event-limited cosmetic items such as new Legendary skins for Revenant, Mirage, Octane, and Wattson, and matching skins for Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8, and Electrogun. Players who collect all 40 event items will receive the latest vanity skin: Bangalore’s Apex Commander.
• Lightning events: Players can complete two unique weekly challenge chains to unlock event-themed cosmetic items. July 19-26 rewards include Fuse’s Down Thunder Epic Skin, the Bionic Companion Weapon Talisman, and the 3030 Cloudburst Epic Skin. The reward from July 26th to August 2nd is an OK holospray.
• Store Tab “Special Offers”: As part of the event, the Special Offers tab returns with deals on bundles and cosmetic items.
