Kona II: Brume: Narrative Adventure announced, playable at Gamescom

Detective Carl Faubert returns in dark crime adventure Kona II: Brume and will be playable at Gamescom.

Parabole and Ravenscourt are pleased to announce that the acclaimed first-person narrative-adventure Kona will have a sequel.

In Kona II: Brume, players will delve into a new case led by Detective Carl Faubert – and once again enjoy a unique story-driven adventure thanks to the return of the omniscient narrator.

Parabole and Ravenscourt will give a first impression at gamescom in Cologne (August 24 – August 29, 2022) with a playable demo in the Indie Arena Booth – and at the end of the report with the announcement trailer.

A bizarre mist – the Brume – tears a rural mining village out of its tranquil reality and upsets the balance of nature. But where does the fog come from?

Kona II: Brume is set in rural northern Canada in the 1970s. The player struggles to survive the Brume, a mysterious mist that turns the reality of the region and its unforgiving wilderness upside down.

Detective Carl Faubert sets out to unravel the mystery behind the Brume – players must once again follow in his footsteps and discover the dark truth that lies hidden in the mist.

• Explore: The vast fictional country of Manastan in northern Canada wants to be explored extensively, as does the village – or what’s left of it. Clues are hidden in wooden shacks or in nearby locations outside of the settlement, such as the surrounding lakes, which are accessible by dog ​​sledding.
