Halo Infinite: You can test campaign co-op now, and here’s how

In a few months you won't have to manage the campaign all by yourself anymore.

You can now play the Halo Infinite campaign together.

You can now play the Halo Infinite campaign together.

If you’ve been waiting to play the Halo Infinite campaign with your friends, there’s good news for you: you can now try it out in a test phase and give feedback. The Flight is already started and is still running until August 1st at 7 p.m German time. We tell you how you can be there.

This is how you take part in the flight

It’s all about this: 343 Industries invites you on both Xbox and PC to try campaign co-op during the testing phase to report any bugs. The mission replay function is also available during the flight. With this you can play missions that have already been completed. You can see how this works on the official info page read. During the flight you can invite up to three friends to join your team.

These are the requirements for all Xbox owners: Basically, the testing phase is open to all of you who either own the campaign on Xbox or have the Game Pass that includes it. In order to be able to play online, you must either have Game Pass Ultimate or also have Xbox Live Gold.

More Xbox news:

This is how it all works: However, just opening the game is not enough if you want to try the co-op now. First you have to register for the Insider program and it works like this:

  • Install the “Xbox Insider Hub” on your console.
  • Click on “accept”.
  • Under “Previews” you will find the “Halo Infinite – Insider” program.
  • You can now join here.
  • Once the registration has been accepted, you can download the flight.

On Steam, participation in the flight is only possible by invitation and with a key. The official website states that Halo Support cannot send keys for the flight to anyone who has not received an invitation.

Here’s how co-op progression works: Once you’ve created the session and invited your friends, everyone who’s in will need to choose a save file. The progress you start with then corresponds to what everyone has already completed. In the end, everyone can take over the progress made. You can find out more about the details on the info page linked above.

Are you up for the campaign co-op and will you watch the flight?
