What is already known about FIFA 23?

This is already official: Even before the trailer went online today, the covers of the standard and ultimate editions of FIFA 23 were already released. They not only show the two cover stars Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr, but also point to “HyperMotion 2”.

HyperMotion is the detailed animation technique introduced with FIFA 22 on the NextGen version. So there seems to be a new version here.

How exactly the versions differ from each other has not yet been officially announced. It is possible that the trailer will also provide information here.

Otherwise it is already clear that FIFA 23 will be the last “FIFA” in cooperation between EA Sports and the world football association FIFA. This year, the two will release the new game together before continuing on their separate paths the following year. EA has already announced that it is planning a new game called “EA Sports FC”, which will bring a large part of the well-known content from the FIFA series.
