3 of the world's coolest Twitch streamers embarrass themselves for Xbox Game Pass - A Terribly Good Music Video

With Myth, IitzTimmy and QTCinderella, Xbox has grabbed three popular streamers. A music video should promote Game Pass for PC. The result is so bad that it’s already good again.

Who are the streamers?

Wanted embarrassing promotional video

This is the video: Large companies using the faces of well-known influencers for advertising purposes is nothing new. But rarely are the stars teased with such relish as in the music video that Xbox wanted to use to advertise the Game Pass.

The music video is so bad it’s good again

Here’s the deal: Xbox offered a deal in June where you could get a 3-month subscription to PC Game Pass for just $1. The test subscription was also available in Germany for one euro.

Fittingly, Xbox formed the “world’s first streamer pop supergroup” and dubbed it Three4One, meaning three for the price of one. The whole thing is an allusion to successful K-pop bands in which each member is assigned a role.

Starring Three4One: QTCinderella as “the leader”, IitzTimmy as “the hardened one” (originally: the edgy one) and Myth as “the third”. It’s immediately clear that nobody takes themselves too seriously here.

Shame on others as a concept for success

So much embarrassment is in the video: The actually cool streamers wear a mixture of glitter and animal prints. To do this, they jump through a luminous storm of effects and sing about the advantages of the deal.

The production of the self-deprecating video appeared to be quite a bit of fun for everyone involved. Myth had previously shared a “Behind the Scenes” video on Twitter. It records the shooting as a pseudo-documentary.

This “mockumentary” style is known from the cult series The Office. Of course, this includes meaningful looks directly into the camera, which Myth skillfully demonstrates here.

Myth shares insights into filming with his fans

The video has more than 18,000 views on YouTube (as of July 21, 2022). Especially the part rapped by Myth was well received by fans. “Myth killed it”, for example, wrote user -Eternal- in the comments.

Given this support, the streamer can think about a second career as a musician.

The idea of forming a K-Pop band for advertising purposes was already in League of Legends and they turned 4 characters into musicians to promote skins. A new music video followed in July, this time with an anime look.
