Grand Theft Auto VI: 227 vacancies could mean next phase of development

Grand Theft Auto VI could soon move into the next phase of development with many vacancies to fill.

Rockstar Games seems to be gearing up for the next phase of Grand Theft Auto VI development, which will require a lot of staff.

Who is currently the Rockstar Games careers page looks at, you will find that there are many vacancies at the various locations around the world that you would like to fill.

As PCGamesN reports, 70 new job offers are said to have been added in the last 24 hours alone. In total there are 227 vacancies of all types.

There are positions that are needed for the development of the next part of the GTA series. For example, Rockstar San Diego is looking for an associate designer for open world events.

The momentum in new openings comes in tandem with Rockstar Games’ statement that it is taking its focus away from Read Dead Redemption 2 and focusing on the new Grand Theft Auto.

Recently there was a rumor about Grand Theft Auto VI that there shouldn’t be three playable characters this time. How Rockstar Games intends to exceed player expectations remains to be seen.
