PUBG: Battlegrounds: Latest Map Deston available as well as graphic options

PUBG: Battleground’s latest map Deston, plus PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X/S graphics options now available on consoles.

Just like the PUBG: Battlegrounds players drop in-game, the 18.2 update is now dropping for the consoles. This brings advanced graphical options to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As a result, PUBG: Battlegrounds now supports resolutions up to 4K, frame rates up to 60fps and the ability to switch between FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) and TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing).

Extended console support
In the April Community Care Package, the team explained the graphics level they were aiming for, the various technical issues, and the reason for the delay in development.

As explained earlier, PUBG: Battlegrounds is very sensitive to memory usage on console platforms. As a result, the team spent a lot of time optimizing memory usage on the consoles to allow for better graphics options.

Also, with the support of platform manufacturers, it has become possible to differentiate between the previous generation (PlayStation 4/4 Slim/Pro, Xbox One/One S/One X) and the current generation of consoles.
