Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo will be released in Europe on September 27th. There will also be a physical limited edition.

The narrative adventure game Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo has finally received a release date for consoles: September 27, 2022 in Europe, the release in North America will take place exactly one week later on October 4th.

In addition to the digital version, a retail version for retailers was also unveiled. The physical limited edition will include the game, an art book and the digital soundtrack. A price is not yet known.

The game, which has been available for the PC since December 16, 2021, tells the story of the classic film “Vertigo”. Writer Ed Miller is in therapy after a traumatic car accident. Although he was the only one found in the wreckage, he is certain that his wife and daughter were in the car at the time of the accident. As the story progresses, he tries to find out what really happened.

The story is told from the point of view of three different protagonists, each with an individual perspective on the events. In different timelines the player has to try to find out the truth.

The PC version currently has a Metascore of 68 points. The game is slightly better received by users with a user score of 7.7.
