Returnal: Reference to PC port – even including Steam Deck?

In the past, we’ve often heard about a possible PC port of the PS5 title Returnal reported. Numerous references on Reddit and in the SteamDB has already existed. These indications are now joined by a change in the change list for the title “Oregon” on July 25th was made. Oregon is exactly the game that, according to dataminers’ research, should ultimately be Returnal in the Steam shop.

The interest in potential reports from this site is correspondingly high. The significant change here is the explicit mention of the Steam Deck and its touchscreen. Therefore, there is a suspicion that a PC port from Returnal (buy now €69.99) would also run verified on the Steam Deck. Alongside God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn, Returnal would be another Sony title to launch with full handheld compatibility. So far, a PC version of the title by Housemarque not confirmed.

What is Returnal?

Returnal is an action title released exclusively for the PS5 in 2020, which received extremely positive ratings. The roguelike is included on Metacritic 86 out of 10 possible points on average. In March 2022, Ascension was released as a major update for the game, which included two new game modes. The free expansion includes both an online co-op mode and the endless mode in the Tower of Sisyphus.
