YouTuber trades CS:GO skins for a €59,000 BMW via Steam

YouTuber and Twitch streamer Vyacheslav “Buster” Leontiev swapped his skins into Counter Strike: Global Offensive via the Steam marketplace for a tuned BMW M5 worth around 59,000 euros. He proudly presented the car on YouTube.

The fact that CS:GO skins can bring in a small fortune with a lot of luck is now well known in the gaming community. Some of the items can be sold online for several thousand euros.

YouTuber and Twitch streamer Buster took skin trading to a new level. He exchanged his CS:GO items for a black BMW worth 59,000 euros.

Who is Buster? Buster is a Russian Twitch streamer and YouTuber. He has 3.1 million followers on Twitch and makes videos for games like Fall Guys, Mortal Kombat 11 or CS:GO (via Twitter). He has 2.72 million subscribers on YouTube (via YouTube).

What is Buster’s video about? A video appeared on YouTube on July 27, 2022 with the Russian title “The world’s first acquisition of a car for skins in CSGO, huh?”

How did Buster get the car? He swapped his skins for a BMW with another user via the Steam marketplace. In the video, you can see Buster looking at the car that the user used to go through the CS:GO items and ended up taking the black BMW.

What skins did Buster swap? Among the skins were some expensive items. Among them was a Dragon Lore and a Sapphire Karambit. There were also a few rare stickers. Overall, the skins had a value of around 56,000 euros.

The YouTuber has the prospect of raffling off the car at an event.

Are loot boxes as perfect sources of income? For YouTubers and streamers, making big bucks with CS:GO skins sometimes looks very easy. The chance of valuable items is only small, as a CS:GO player showed.
