Overwatch 2: Up to $45 for skins? Survey names price categories
Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 is known to be switching to a free-to-play model and eliminating its loot boxes. That means the money has to go elsewhere.
About the skins? At least now there are a few possible clues as to what these might cost in Overwatch 2.
In different categories
According to a new survey that Blizzard sent out according to Twitter user Portergauge, the developer studio seems to be asking people about this topic.
In said survey, if it is authentic, different prices are mentioned.
More Overwatch 2 news:
A single Mythic Skin is said to be $44.99, a Legendary Skin is $24.99 and a Legendary Bundle is $29.99. A gun tag might cost $9.99.
As I said, these don’t have to be final prices yet, but you can probably expect that you won’t just get a skin thrown after you for a tenner.
on Reddit up to 45 dollars for a Mythic Skin don’t go down that well. There is no official information about prices yet.
Overwatch 2 will first enter Early Access on October 4, 2022. The game will be released for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.
Oof, friend of mine got an Overwatch survey for his account, some of these prices they’re gauging for OW2 are really expensive.
I hope this is just him getting one of the higher price surveys and not an indication that they’re leaning towards this much monetization. pic.twitter.com/RWr7LbwkLB
