Roller Drama promises an exciting mix of visual novel and management

Anyone who feels reminded of old Roller Derby films after the preview image of Roller Drama is probably spot on. So the sports game, which wants to be a mixture of visual novel, puzzler and management, is all about a group of five athletes and you, the manager. By managing your team’s strategy, mental health and history, roller derbying in real-time matches, and solving small tasks in the girls’ dorm, you’ll help them win! However, this will look very different depending on the decision: In the game you can expect several endings.

The small studio behind Roller Drama is called Open Lab Games and is located in Italy. They used to help other studios develop and released their first own game soccer drama in 2019. Now roller drama continues as sports games seem to be her passion. Lead Designer Pietro Polsinelli says: “From the hand-drawn graphics to the daring mix of genres, Roller Drama is pretty damn ambitious and weird. We want to offer players a sporting triumph they won’t find anywhere else!” The game appears early 2023 for PC and mobile, later it will be released for the current PlayStation and Xbox generations.
