A new teaser for survival horror game Outbreak: Shades of Horror celebrates the release of the Xbox Series X|S demo.

The trailer should create a certain atmosphere and prepare you for what awaits you in the demo. The city can be seen Cypress Ridge, which was thrown into chaos due to a virus outbreak. However, you are by no means a hero in this game, looking for the solution or the origin of the pandemic. Your only goal is to survive.

As you fight your way through the world, you must solve puzzles and collect materials. Each puzzle could open up a new path that will either take you further or keep the undead from chasing you. In previous adaptations of the Outbreak series, studio Dead Drop Studios tried several different techniques and styles, such as pure 2D graphics or fixed camera angles. In the new part of the series, money from a crowd-funding campaign was used to bring all the ideas together and take the end product to the next level.

Outbreak: Shades of Horror is a modern adaptation of classic horror shooters. You can choose between different camera perspectives in this game. Depending on what you feel most or least comfortable with, you can choose between a first-person, a third-person perspective or the classic fixed camera angles. In addition, you can choose from a wide range of everyday survivors with whom you want to escape the plague city, alone or in the Co-op mode with up to four players.

In summary, this means improved controls, immersive graphics and modern gameplay mechanics combined with the horror atmosphere of the late 90s and early 2000s.
