Hellblade 2’s Biggest Danger Revealed – Birds detonate demolition charges over Senua’s head
In Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga the eponymous Senua gets to deal with many a complicated situation. Already in the first part we were allowed to make a detour to Helheim and face the dangers of the world of Hel, the goddess of death.
In the second part, the developers at Ninja Theory are planning similar horrors, of which probably the biggest has now been examined in more detail.
Flying explosive charges in Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga
Ninja Theory speaks of flying explosive charges, which are shot in the face of Senua. Ok, it’s not that wild. But the birds in the game can fire “authentic” charges. And you know what that means?
Why is this feature integrated? Every now and then there are details in a video game that don’t necessarily have to be there. And yet, ideally, they make up the big picture that ultimately takes the game to a new, artistic level. So there we are with Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and the accurate bird droppings. So what exactly does this mean for the game?
Ninja Theory proudly explains in the following video that the droppings of the birds flies with accurate movements, so he flies into the correct direction (like in real life) when they are in the air. This is symbolized internally by an excrement cannon. Real pranksters.
That is, there are certain positions in the game, on which the birds will defecate. So keep a low profile when you’re out with Senua.
