German charts: F1 22 passes the crown to GTA V

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 defies the summer slump and F1 22 passes the crown on to GTA V.

Since the end of April, the physical games market has not recorded such high sales as in the current week – despite the summer slump. There are several reasons for this: Firstly, the role-playing adventure Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is off to a great start and has conquered the top of the official German Nintendo Switch charts, determined by GfK Entertainment.

Second, the second most popular new release, the visual novel Digimon Survive, also splashes out, debuting at positions four (Switch) and three (PS4, behind F1 22 and GTA V). Third, the racing simulation Gran Turismo 7 puts the turbo on again and defends the PS5 throne from GTA V with strong sales.

That turns out to be very consistent Xbox Series podium, which as usual consists of Elden Ring, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and GTA V. On the Xbox One charts, on the other hand, F1 22 (two) passes the crown to GTA V.

Top-selling PC titles are Farming Simulator 22 and The Sims 4, while Mario Kart 7 and Pokémon Ultra Moon return to the top of the 3DS.
