AMD Ryzen 7000: The first X670E mainboards are already being used by testers

AMD’s new CPU generation Ryzen 7000 is not far away and the first testers are supplied with the corresponding mainboards.

After there was an official AM5 showcase from AMD last week and the presentation date along with the end of the NDA and the market launch date of the new Ryzen 7000 processors by MSI, the matching mainboards are obviously also available as a substructure with the new X670E chipset in circulation.

At least Gigabyte has sent a copy of the X670E Aorus Master to the “SkatterBencher” YouTube channel, which is known for overclocking instructions, while other testers have of course already been supplied. A first image of the test sample of “SkatterBencher” was also published on Twitter, although there are still a few weeks before the official presentation and launch.

The said model X670E Aorus Master is loud Videocardz.com probably the second best mainboard from Gigabyte’s new line-up after the top model. Featuring a 16+2+2 phase design, the AM5 socket board supports up to four DDR5 memory modules, while also adding support for four M.2 drives, two PCI-E 5.0 x4 and two 4.0 x4 are available, all of which offer a screwless design and a quick release system for the PCI-E x16 slot.

According to the latest information, AMD will launch its Ryzen 7000 processors on September 15th, while the official announcement or presentation is expected on August 30th. The X670E motherboards are also reportedly set to launch on the same day. Meanwhile, official tests for the new CPU generation (codename Raphael) based on the Zen 4 architecture can be expected from September 13th.
