The Lost Wild offers survival horror and beautifully animated dinosaurs
Dinosaurs have always fascinated mankind. With ever-improving technical means, we can bring the long-extinct creatures back to earth, at least virtually. So will Jurassic Park in the cinema to the classic and Ark: Survival Evolved one of the most popular titles in survival genre.
With The Lost Wild another game is currently being worked on, the prehistoric giants wants to show in a new way and especially to fans of survival horror directs. The title looks breathtakingly good on the first pictures and videos and it now seems certain that it will actually appear.
This is The Lost Wild
The Lost Wild is called by a small team of former modders Great Ape Games developed. Your goal is to design a dinosaur game based on the results scientific research sets and the dinos as Animals and not portrayed as a monster. It is therefore a much more realistic approach than, for example, Ark.
One open world shouldn’t exist, instead there are always open areas where exploration pays off and where different species should react intelligently to the end of the game. But these are in the course of a linearly told story interwoven.
The goal will probably be to find out why the dinosaurs are there in the first place and to find safety. The players find themselves in one without memory big jungle again and will soon meet the first dinosaurs. Everywhere in the world there is abandoned research facilities. These must be explored in order to progress in the story.
fights are not part of the actual gameplay. If you like with dangerous species raptors comes into contact, it is more about escaping and the vicinity use to distract the dinosaurs. Occasionally you can too flares can be found with which attackers can be kept at a distance.
Support from Annapurna

The Lost Wild is expected Late 2024/early 2025 for the personal computer appear. A release for the next-gen consoles is planned for a later date.
