Elden Ring is coming to Game Pass soon, according to the Xbox app

Elden Ring in Game Pass may soon become a reality.

Elden Ring could appear in Microsoft’s Game Pass a few months after the release. An entry of the action role-playing game for Game Pass Ultimate has appeared in the Xbox app. The only question is whether the title will actually be added to the subscription service or whether it could just use a new additional function. We will probably have to wait another two weeks for the official answer.

Elden Ring soon in Game Pass?

It’s all about this: Shortly before the start of gamescom 2022, Microsoft must have slipped a big chunk through its hands. We are talking about Elden Ring, probably the biggest game of the gaming year 2022 so far. The leak in the Xbox system discovered by several users naturally arouses desires. Microsoft is the only one of the three major console manufacturers to be represented at the fair and could score well with an announcement from Elden Ring for the Game Pass.

Is Microsoft making a statement? When Elden Ring was announced at Microsoft’s E3 show in 2019, there were already tentative rumors of integration into Game Pass. It is obvious where this came from: in the past we have seen time and again how Microsoft has attracted media attention to Sony franchises or development studios that were actually closely linked to the other party (CoD, Final Fantasy, etc.).

But beware: Until there is an official confirmation, these are just rumors as there could be a bug in the system. What’s even more likely is that Elden Ring won’t be coming to the subscription service at all, just using the new cloud feature for Game Pass Ultimate members, which will soon let you stream games you’ve bought from the store on the go (via Xbox Dynasty).
