Temtem release for Switch and Xbox is imminent – it’s all in version 1.0
Temtem is about to be released properly.
Temtem is currently still in Early Access, but with the upcoming release for Xbox and Nintendo Switch, the Pokémon alternative is getting a makeover with lots of new content and functions. We tell you what version 1.0 has to offer.
What is Temtem anyway? Temtem is usually described as a Pokémon for the PlayStation (and soon for the Xbox). This gives you a good idea of what to expect. However, in contrast to new Pokémon games, the title is also aimed at experienced players and makes many things better that fans criticize about the Game Freak series.

This is all new in Temtem 1.0
Tamer’s Paradise: First and foremost, there are a number of fresh endgame activities designed to put you and your team to the test. For this purpose, the game world is expanded to include the tamer’s paradise. On the new island you can try your hand at the following activities:
- Tamer Sanctuary: Here you can compete against some extremely strong opponents. If you manage to tame a whole bunch of tamers without losing once, you’ll get great rewards.
- The arena: So-called holo tamers are waiting for you here, and they are becoming increasingly difficult. You can bring your own team or use a pre-made one for a special challenge.
- Digi Cave: Here you can fight special double battles together and get Temtem Eggs as a reward.
- Temtem Safari: As the name suggests, wild monsters roam here. A different category of Temtem awaits you each week, so check back often.
- The Shifting Tower: Pick a starter Temtem and try to get to the top of this tower, which will relevel each time you visit.
Other innovations: With the launch there will be Seasons and a Battle Pass (Temtem Pass) to keep you going. Both free and paid content await you here. In addition, a premium store is to be added, in which you will find new cosmetic items every week.

When is Temtem 1.0 launch? The game is currently available in Early Access for PS5 and PC. Version 1.0 will be launched on September 6th instead of. Then Temtem will also appear for the Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.
