WoW Dragonflight: Fans can look forward to a change to the arena queue
The WoW developers are busy working on the alpha of the upcoming Dragonflight expansion. In addition to many major changes and new areas, there are also some small but fine adjustments waiting for the fans. One of them concerns the queue for arena battles. We explain to you what it’s all about.
When the next WoW expansion Dragonflight appears, a lot will change. The focus of the developers is, among other things, to introduce various quality-of-life changes and thereby ensure more fun. In addition to the revision of the professions, there is also a small but fine adjustment to the queue for arena fights.
A long-desired feature is finally becoming a reality
Because if WoW (buy now ) Dragonflight releases, you can solo queue for ranked arena battles. As things stand in the expansion alpha, you no longer need a group to log in. The 2v2, 3v3, and 10v10 ranked battlegrounds will remain, however, and there is no solo ranked battleground queue either.
While fans are welcoming the change on reddit, many players are also keen to add a solo queue for ranked battlegrounds. For example, a user writes:
“[Eine Solo-Warteschlange für gewertete Schlachtfelder] is my biggest wish for WoW. Just tie an Elo system to random battlegrounds and let’s have fun. Sub-1000 Elo teams that don’t accept you because your class isn’t high enough on the tier list isn’t fun.”
For some fans, the change comes as little surprise, after all, the developers have already tested the solo queues with the PvP scuffle and announced that they are planning a corresponding system for Dragonflight. But the fact that they’ve now implemented it in the alpha shows that they mean business. What do you think? Are you happy about the change? Or are you not interested in PvP in WoW?
