The latest update to Warzone is out and gives the H4 Blixen a big nerf. We’ll tell you if the MP is still worth anything.

Santa Monica, California – Warzone is celebrating its Season 4 Reloaded and surprisingly receives a new update. Call of Duty’s Battle Royale brings small changes with the fresh patch, but two of them weaken the most popular MP in the game. We reveal whether the heavyweight is still worthwhile and which ancient ratchet is now becoming increasingly popular with professionals.

Warzone: Patch Notes in Season 4 Reloaded from 8.9. – The most popular MP gets 2 nerfs

This weapon gets 2 nerfs: Since the start of Season 4 in Warzone, the SMG H4 Blixen has been considered an absolute monster. The weapon belongs to the meta and can be found in many player loadouts. So far, developer Raven Software has nerfed the powerful MP several times so that other guns have a chance. The new update from August 9th, 2022 works even further on the popular MP: 2 changes now further weaken the blixes.

This is what the patch notes say: The new update from September 8th, 2022 is quite small. Here you can find all official patch notes in German:

  • H4 Blixen: MP max damage reduced from 39 to 38
  • H4 Blixen: 7.62 Gorenko 54-round clip no longer boosts movement speed – now slightly decreases movement speed
  • Fixed bug 5476: The “Dev Error” could crash the game

Is the Blixen still usable after the Nerf marathon of the last updates in Warzone? We show you the most popular setup of the MP.

Warzone: “H4 Blixen” setup in German for the best TTK

That’s why the Blixen is so popular: The MP has an insanely strong TTK, so time to kill the enemy. The H4 Blixen needs well under a second in the current meta of Warzone. By default, the Blixen had a TTK of 634 milliseconds – our setup reduces the strong value to just 604 milliseconds. It remains to be seen how important the nerf is.

The usage statistics from Warzone also show that the Blixen is still popular: The site WZranked lists the Blixen is 6.87 percent of all loadouts in Battle Royale. This corresponds to 2nd place for all weapons and 1st place for MPs (as of 08/09/2022).

Use these essays: The CoD expert eColiEspresso makes the Blixen even more deadly and easy to control with this setup:

  • mouth: Recoil Booster
  • run: Jonsson 9“ RMK
  • visor: slate reflector
  • shaft: Without shank
  • underflow: M1941 hand stopper
  • magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 54-round magazine
  • ammunition: Extended
  • Handle: Wrapped handle
  • extra: Nimble
  • extra 2: Quickly

The new update didn’t shake the H4 Blixen’s strong TTK much, but it did create more space at the top of the meta for variety. So you still have a meta weapon that really shreds in close combat. But professionals are increasingly jumping to an old MP that has been in the game for almost 2 years. Dominate in Warzone with an ancient weapon: with this MP you make worthy competition for the Blixen.
