WoW: 80+ Tips and Tricks for Shadowlands M+ Dungeons (Season 4) (4)

Season 4 of WoW Shadowlands started just over a week ago and sent Mythic Plus players back to the WoD dungeons Iron Docks and Grimrail Pot, the two Mechagon parts and the upper and lower parts of Karazhan. Only the two Tazavesh dungeons remained from the Shadowlands Siason 3 rotation.

So that you can easily master the dungeons, Redditor Plasmaxyz has in the reddit subforum CompetitiveWoW the best tips and tricks from the community collected. Here are nearly 100 useful tips for every Mythic Plus dungeon in Shadowlands Season 4. Some of them are obvious and you may know them, but we didn’t know a lot of tricks ourselves and sometimes trivialize some instances.

  • Before the tank charges, position yourself under one of the hammers so the vehicle takes more damage.
  • The attacks of rocket tank deal damage to friendly targets. Theoretically, you can send the tank soloing all mobs ahead (as long as it can keep itself alive on its own). Here is an example in the video.
  • Kujo’s pounce can be interrupted by feign death or similar effects like disappear or shadow mimic. The first target is always the furthest away. Use this to completely avoid further jumps.
  • Behind the crate, Kujo can still be attacked if he’s close enough and positioned correctly – even in melee. To see if you are safe and can attack, there is that familiar WeakAura.
  • Hunters can use Retreat on the ramp to Kujo to be the first to avoid running the gauntlet. example in the video. Of course, Warrior Leap, Warlock Portal and Demon Hunter Double Leap etc. work similarly. Warlock portal skip example in video.
  • Priests can take over the mechanics with mind control and with the anti-personnel squirrel cause immense damage.
  • the mob Rumsatron X80 can be pulled aside and attacked by ranged fighters at maximum range. They don’t have to dodge any attacks and can cast their spells freely. Blink/Nightfae teleport classes can even bypass the mob entirely by teleporting through the barrier. example in the video.
  • Ranged fighters can stand by the stairs in the machinist’s garden and ignore most attacks.
  • Smaller races like dwarves can seemingly bypass the flamethrowers with the sit emote. example in the video. However, this does not work for goblins and is probably a bug.
  • You can stun the flowers in this fight, targeted targets can also use feign death, vanish, etc.
  • After the Machinist’s Garden, defeat the rear spider tank first, as this will trigger the RP event, saving you time.
  • With the warlock portal, the difficult last mob group can be bypassed before the final boss. Example with picture.
  • giga shock can be bypassed with night elf shadow mimics. Apparently the boss doesn’t cast the attack anymore after that.

  • Your route should be designed to shock ALL players. The effect scales extremely well with tempo. So even if your class doesn’t speed up or you end up with too much speed from the season affix, everyone still takes the midwayer’s speed buff.
  • Hunters can rush the slime elementals interrupt with an ice trap.
  • warriors can devour from Toxic Montrosity deal with spell reflection. You don’t have to run out of effect while doing a lot of damage via reflection. There is one for interested warriors google-docs collection with all reflective spells in WoW Shadowlands.
  • Ranged fighters stand by Gunker simply to maximum range so as not to have to walk. Only when the slime is pulled to the boss do you have to stand in one of the bots for a moment.
  • Those who can clean diseases can free the robots from the slime debuff. To do this, aim the robot and not the slime.
  • you can megatazer by Trixie with shadow mimics, tossing and similar abilities in order not to have to run into the cloud.
  • magicians can Enlarge the renomalizer Steal with Spellsteal and deal 100% more damage.
  • The sorcerer portal lets you teleport to the boss faster after the intermediate phase. As a rule, however, you want to turn off a player (preferably a tank or healer) at the end of the phase to drain the remaining energy. The rest intentionally place themselves in the Alam bots to be teleported down immediately, giving them more time for the boss’s Weak phase.
  • In the intermediate phase you can hop over the rotating electric barriers at the final boss. Of course, jumps, teleports and immune abilities like God’s Shield also work to avoid the parkour.
  • Left-click the conduit on the final boss in the intermediate phase to see how much energy he has left.
  • Pet classes manually position their companions at the boss at the beginning of the intermediate phase, otherwise they will run backwards from the conduit forever and do no damage.

  • Hunters can stop the onslaught of foot soldiers with Ice Trap.
  • The witcher portal can be put through the fence at the beginning to avoid the trash. example in the video. You have to jump to trigger the teleport effect.
  • Ranged fighters and healers can stand close to the first boss on the fence, bypassing the areas of fire. example in the video.
  • Of course, you pull the two ogron after the first boss into the iron stars in order to oneshot them.
  • Fleshripper Nok’gar s Shredding Blows always aim for the tank first. As a melee fighter, never stand by the tank.
  • The trash behind the first boss on the left is significantly easier than the additional groups after the second boss. Play these simple groups and skip extra trash out the back.
  • You can drag additional trash into the Iron Stars lane, but there is a cap of 15 targets hit per star. The Nathrezim mobs are immune to the damage from the stars.
