To keep your companions’ morale high, the Companion Ranch has two separate areas: the Cookie Workshop and the Ranch.

At the ranch, companions regenerate their morale as they relax and play with each other. Companions can be placed in either the ranch or cookie workshop to refill morale or make jelly cookies. But you cannot do both at the same time. Working in the Biscuit Workshop lowers the morale of followers, and without morale they can no longer make biscuits.

In the Cookie Workshop, companions earn proficiency in making jelly cookies at the same time. When their maximum is reached, the companion can be upgraded. Through Stronghold Research, you can unlock additional Cookie Workshop slots to place more pets and increase your production. The amount of biscuits produced depends on the pet’s level and increases as you upgrade from Rare to Epic and Legendary. Legendary Companions

You can upgrade your pets to legendary by reaching max pet proficiency and spending pet growth tokens, which you get for jelly cookies. Upgrading a companion to legendary unlocks several features. Legendary pets get a (random) powerful skill, and at random irregular intervals you gain one of 3 effects of that skill in battle. There are 5 companion skills that can be randomly unlocked or switched:

Pet Skills can be changed at a Pet Management NPC for 20 crystals. You can choose which skill you want and can change it again at any time.

You can also change the appearance of legendary pets to better match another unlocked pet. To do this, you need a pet customization potion from the Cookie Vendor. You only have to use it once per companion. After that, you can change that pet’s appearance as many times as you like.
