Nintendo Switch Online: Next N64 game confirmed

Nintendo has announced the next N64 game for Nintendo Switch Online and it’s coming this week.

This time it’s Wave Race 64, released in 1996 in Japan and 1997 in PAL regions.

Back on the water

Later this week, on Friday 19th August to be precise, you can expect Wave Race 64 developed by Nintendo EAD.

The Switch version also features Kawasaki’s sponsorship banners. Back then, they were dropped from the Virtual Console versions for Wii and DS, but were already brought back on the Wii U.

Wave Race 64 is the sequel to the Game Boy title Wave Race which was released in 1992. In the racing game, you race across the water on jet skis.
