Doom: Massive free add-on Revolution now available

Can’t get enough of Doom? Now there is a new job opportunity!

A brand new and free add-on is now available in the shooter’s add-on library.

Let the revolution begin

The add-on is called “Revolution!” and is playable in both Doom and Doom 2.

And it’s by no means a small expansion, because Revolution brings you a whole 32 new levels in which you fight against hordes of demons and chaos.

The extension by modder Thomas van der Velden has been known since 2001, but now it has basically received the official blessing of id Software and is available directly in the game.

“I never expected this hobby project to receive so much praise and I am very grateful for it”, says van der Velden.

“The main source of inspiration was Doom (1993) itself. I’ve been hooked on it since I first played it in 1994. It was incredible (and still is). The engine, graphics and level design were above anything else at the time. It’s still the most immersive game I know. Every time I play it, I feel at home.”
