World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is already in the starting blocks, but until then, players can still enjoy the fourth season of the current Shadowlands expansion. The expansion could not convince a large part of the player base, but with Season 4 Blizzard has done some work to increase the fun of the game a little. Maybe you’re one of those people who didn’t buy the expansion but are now curious about the new season. Or maybe you just want to prepare for Dragonflight, but don’t necessarily want to purchase Shadowlands for it.

It is precisely for such people that Blizzard recently gave away the Epic Edition of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Quite a nice gesture, but unfortunately not every player received this gift, which is why Blizzard is now changing their approach. Any player who does not own the expansion can now easily pick it up for free, including a level boost to level 50. The offer runs until September 5 of this year. So if you want to try out the new Drakthyr for the pre-patch or experience the current Shadowlands endgame, you should hurry.

Shadowlands and its level boost were probably sent to eligible players as a simple gift via the Battle.net launcher. Excluded from participation are players who already own Shadowlands on one of their WoW accounts. For example, if you have two accounts for World of Warcraft (buy now ) used, but only owns Shadowlands on one of them, you will not receive a free upgrade for your second account. Also, only players who had any expansion license at any time will receive the gift.
