This week there was again a lot of news in the world of MMORPGs. A lot has happened, especially with the games in development and some betas and alphas are due in September 2022. We at MeinMMO summarize.

The excitement of the week: The MMORPG Bless Unleashed came out in 2020 and started successfully. Now the PS4 and Xbox One versions are shutting down the servers again.

What happened to the MMORPGs in development?

  • The sandbox MMORPG Embers Adrift explains what the game is all about in a new video in just one minute. There will also be an open beta for the game on September 16 (via massivelyop).
  • The Minecraft MMORPG Wynncraft is also starting a final pre-launch beta (via massivelyop).
  • The Wagadu Chronicles isn’t in beta yet, but will launch a 2nd alpha later this September (via mmorpg.com).
  • On September 12th, the controversial MMORPG DreamWorld starts in Early Access on Steam (via mmorpg.com).
  • Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis was already successful for PC and Xbox, now it also launched for the PS4.
  • You can also play Fractured Online for free shortly before the release on September 15th. There was also a new trailer with music by Lara Loft.
  • Kickstarter indie MMORPG Genevanad launches on Steam on September 27th and will then be playable for everyone (via massivelyop).
