Who turned the raid clock, is it really that late…? We’d sing, but Alolan Raichu is more interested in using its tail as a surfboard in Pokémon Go, too! The Tier 3 Raids are currently dominated by Electric and Psychic-type Pokémon and Alolan Raichu, which has both types, cannot be missing! Grab it, because with a bit of luck you’ll get it in front of the Poké Ball after a successful raid battle in its dazzling variant!

Unlike a regular Raichu, Alolan Raichu has a Psychic type in addition to the Electric type. As such, it is significantly more vulnerable than the original Kanto Raichu, and must contend with the following weaknesses: Ground (boosted in Sun and Clear skies), Bug (boosted in Rain), Ghost (boosted in Fog), and Dark (also boosted in fog boosted). It’s best to check the weather in the Pokémon Go app to see if your attacking Pokémon are benefiting from a Weather Boost.

But beware! Alolan Raichu can have a Grass-type Charged Attack. If you fight with attackers who are of the ground type, you should be prepared for a decent exchange of blows!
