Pokémon GO: Mega Simsala debuts in Mega Raids

The Psycho Spectacle: The trainers in Pokémon GO can look forward to another psychological spectacle. Like last year, the Psychic-type Pokémon are once again the focus of the game. The event starts on September 6th at 10 a.m. and ends on December 12th at 8 p.m. That means trainers have enough time to fully enjoy the psychological spectacle. In September, however, other events await the trainers in Pokémon GO.

  • Begin: September 6, 10 a.m
  • End: December 12, 8 p.m

Debut of Mega Simsala: The Psychic Spectacle even brings us a brand new Pokémon debut this year, as Trainers can encounter Mega Simsala for the first time. With a bit of luck, you can even meet a Shiny specimen in the Mega Raids. If you catch a Simsala in the raid, it also has the Psychokinesis attack. If you don’t want to take part in a raid for the exclusive attack, you can simply develop your Kadabra during the psycho spectacle, and the Simsala will then also receive the psychokinesis attack.

Field research: Great rewards also await you for completing field research during the Psycho Spectacle. Even the shiny form of Pygraulon can come your way as a reward. If you don’t want to miss the new Shiny, you should diligently complete the field research in Pokémon GO in the coming weeks. You can encounter these Pokémon at the end of the research (you can also encounter all Pokémon marked with an asterisk as Shiny):

  • Puppet*
  • Palimpalim*
  • pygraulon*
  • hypno

Temporary research: During the Psycho Spectacle, Trainers can also participate in a limited-time research. This will literally revolve around curveball throws. If you complete this research, you even have the chance to encounter several Pygraulon.

Pokémon GO: All Spwans for the Psycho Spectacle

Wilderness Spawns: During the Psychic Spectacular in Pokémon GO, certain Pokémon spawn more frequently in the wild. Here are the Pokémon you can look forward to during the event. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter Shinys, so keep your eyes open.

  • abra*
  • Flegmon*
  • trauma*
  • nature*
  • Trasla*
  • spoink*
  • summer*
  • Fleknoil*
  • Mollimorba

Pokemon from Eggs: New Pokémon also hatch from the eggs during the psycho spectacle. However, this time there are only changes to the 7 km eggs, with the remaining distances everything remains the same. These monsters await you in the 7 km eggs of Pokémon GO (an asterisk means you can also catch this Pokémon as Shiny):

Pokémon GO: All the raid bosses of the psycho spectacle

All Raids: In the course of the psychological spectacle, you must also be prepared for new raid bosses. You can now encounter Mega Simsala for the first time in the Mega Raids, but the rest of the Raid stages also have a lot in store for you. You can meet these Pokémon in the Pokémon GO Raids (if a Pokémon is marked with a star, you have a chance of a Shiny):

  • Raid level 1
  • Unown E
  • Unown P
  • Unown S
  • Psiau*
  • Raid level 3
  • Alola Raichu*
  • Where exactly*
  • girafarig*

  • Raid level 5
  • Deoxy’s normal form*
  • Deoxy Attack Form*

  • Deoxy’s Initiative Form*
  • Mega Raids
  • Mega Simsala*

extra events: On Sunday, September 11th, a real highlight awaits you in Pokémon GO. Because on this day, as part of the psycho spectacle, a whole raid day is celebrated in honor of the mysterious Pokémon Deoxys. All forms of Deoxys then appear in the level 5 raids and with luck you can even encounter all forms as Shiny. The trainers get these bonuses on the raid day with Deoxys:

  • All forms of Deoxys appear more frequently in the raid
  • Up to five additional free Raid Passes when spinning Photo Discs or Arenas.
  • The chance of shiny deoxys is increased.

Psycho Cup: Only Pokémon with a maximum CP of 1500 can participate in the Battle League in the Season of Light in Pokémon GO, and the Pokémon must also be of the Psychic type. However, the Pokémon Mew is excluded from the cup.
