Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Gameplay To Be Revealed Soon According To Reports

A prominent PlayStation source reported that Insomniac Games will “soon” show off the first gameplay footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that many are waiting for.

First announced last year, Insomniac confirmed via a debut trailer that a sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man was officially in development for PlayStation 5. And while the initial trailer itself only primarily revealed Kraven and Venom’s involvement as villains in the game, it seems that we will soon see the title in action.

According to source Millie Amand, who has had numerous PlayStation firsts in the past, Insomniac Games is preparing to show off Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 gameplay to the public. Detailed on social media today, Amand reported that Spider-Man 2 currently “exceeds expectations” of Marvel games.

Marvel employees who have seen the game in action have apparently expressed that the title’s gameplay is so good that it almost looks like a cutscene rather than actual footage. Though Amand didn’t say much more about when this game reveal might happen, his report on the game suggests that it’s likely on track for release sometime next year.
