Why is the console so interesting for me? I’ve been a Pokémon fan for years, but until now I’ve been reluctant to buy a Switch. The console just couldn’t convince me so far.

Nevertheless, I’ve been watching the market for months and hoping for a discount, after all, the release of crimson and purple is imminent. For the 9th generation of pocket monsters, not only do I want to get back into the franchise, I also have to catch up on the games Sword and Shield and Legends: Arceus.

Of course, Nintendo has now managed to dissuade me from my austerity plan and I’m even tempted to get one of the more expensive versions of the Switch. I can’t explain exactly why I want the special version. I just love the design, although the Pokémon style certainly helped with the persuasion.

What do we know about the price? At the moment there is no price known for the special version of the switch. The switch in the special design for the colorful shooter Splatoon 3 is sold on Amazon for €349.00. The Pokémon version could also be in this price range.

The normal Switch OLED usually costs around €339.99. So I have to pay a small surcharge for the special design.
