In Season 18, however, Bungie introduced new options for various exo-weapons that have now changed that. Now the exotic bow “Wisher” is not only noble and beautiful, but also a real monster in battle.

What bow is it? In 2018, Bungie released the Forsaken expansion, bringing one of the most beautiful Exo-Bows into the game – the Wishing Kinetic Bow.

Through an exotic quest in the dungeon The Shattered Throne, players were able to pick up this unique gem from Sjur Eido. But only if they were able to successfully charge and turn in the multi-stage quest “Dreaming Tokens”.

However, despite its exotic properties, the Wishing Bow never really wowed the Guardians. Only a massive exploit that almost quadrupled its damage once helped it to a dreamlike revival for a short time.

Otherwise, the players guarded the carved, white piece of jewelry in their safe or collection, where it gathered dust for almost exactly four years.

Bungie hasn’t forgotten its gem yet: Now, almost 4 years after the release of his exotic quest, the wisher can finally show what he’s really capable of. And that even really strong and without exploit.

Basically, the bow offers the following exotic advantages:

• Exo-Perk “Queen’s Wrath”: Aiming with the bow fully drawn will mark fighters behind walls and arrows will pierce shields.

In Season 18, however, “Wisher” also benefits from several new adjustments:

• In Season 18, for example, Bungie basically increased the damage of all exotic primary weapons against fighters with a red bar.
• Increased Wish Ender hits against most targets from 2 to 3 (more hits against vehicles, still 2 against players).
• In addition, his damage against champions, majors, and mini-bosses has been increased by 10%.
• The exo bow also got a built-in, i.e. intrinsic, anti-barrier perk against champions.
• And its brew time has been reduced from 828 to 820 milliseconds.

How will the changes affect the game? After these changes in Season 18, the bow not only looks beautiful, but also performs excellently.

Depending on the level of difficulty, the Guardians can easily use it to take out 1-2 shots of red-bar Ogres and Cabal Gladiators, and even Screamers. Even opponents with an orange or yellow bar can be solidly eliminated with it.

In fact, increasing the number of hits from 2 to 3 equates to a roughly 50% increase in damage on most targets. This doesn’t quite match the former exploit, but it strengthens the bow additionally.

Due to the intrinsic anti-barrier property, a fully drawn shot or a maximum of 2 shots is enough for the champion’s shield to give way.

But the bow can also be useful to you in other ways with the anti-barrier arrows. He penetrates annoying shields or immunizations just as easily. Just like any other weapon that has anti-barrier properties or is equipped with them via the seasonal mod.
